Role and Responsibilities
As a member of a highly motivated, dynamic and multi-disciplined team, you will design and develop world-class automation solutions. Duties involve contributing to machine concepts, design of control panels and schematics using Eplan and project documentation.
- Design and develop control schematics with Eplan.
- Design and develop control panel layouts with Eplan.
- Contribute to the safety design and documentation
- Creating parts lists
- Debug and commission control systems at our facility, during the system integration stage and then at the customer’s site during installation
- Work with customers, project managers, designers, toolmakers and electricians to solve problems in order to provide the customer with a complete, functional automation system
- Provide accurate documentation for each project
- Advise customer on solving technical problems
Candidate Specification:
- Engineering degree specialising in electrical engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Understanding of robotics, control systems and machine operation is desirable
- A self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised, with a can-do approach and the ability to manage conflicting demands in a wide variety of tasks and functions
- Excellent people skills and work ethic
- Excellent communicator
